Candidate Statement

Wiseburn has been home for my entire life, and it helped shape the person I am today. As a Wiseburn student, neighbor, husband, father of two Wiseburn and Da Vinci graduates, youth coach, and your Trustee for more than 20 years, it has been one of the greatest honors of my life to serve this community.

Throughout my service, I have believed every decision begins with one simple question: What is in the best interest of our students? That principle has guided us as we unified our district, strengthened our partnership with Da Vinci Schools, improved our campuses, and served as responsible stewards of our community's trust and resources.

Professionally, I have spent more than 30 years working alongside school districts throughout California to help plan, build, and improve educational facilities. That experience has strengthened my ability to provide thoughtful leadership, long-range planning, sound fiscal oversight, and practical solutions for our District.

Wiseburn's greatest strength has always been its people; our students, families, educators, staff, and community. I would be honored to continue serving the district that has meant so much to my family and to help ensure Wiseburn remains a place where every student has the opportunity to succeed.
